Diagnosis
Either you are attempting to deleteproduction version &V1& oryou have attempted to deselect the repetitive manufacturing indicatorfor the production version.
It is not possible to delete the production version or to deselect therepetitive manufacturing indicator for the following reasons:

• Cutoff period for
WIP calculation has notyet been established. For the period in which a goods receipt was lastentered with reference to this production version.

• The cutoff period for
variance calculation hasnot been defined for the full life of the production version.

System Response
The production version is not deleted or the repetitive manufacturingindicator cannot be deselected.

Procedure
Make sure that the period-end closing process has been executed for allproduct cost collectors.
Then establish the cutoff period for WIP calculation or the period lockfor variance calculation.
Note
Once you have set the cutoff period or the period lock for a period,you should not withdraw it. Withdrawing the cutoff period or the periodlock can result in inconsistencies between the values shown on theproduct cost collector (such as work in process or variances) and thevalues calculated before the cutoff period or period lock waswithdrawn. This is because it is possible that production versions weredeleted that should have been included in the period-end closingprocess for the product cost collector.
