Diagnosis
You want to carry out an availability check for component &V1&.However, you can only carry out an availability check if a checkinggroup has been maintained for the component.
The error occurred in order &V2&.
Note that this error message can also be issued as a result of othererrors (for example, communication problems with the ATP server), eventhought the check group is correctly maintained in the material master.

Procedure
First check the material availability check log (according to thefunction carried out, you may also have to check other logs, forexample, the release log) for other error messages and solve theseproblems first. If there are no more problems in the log, take thefollowing steps:
For component &V1&, enter a checking group in the material masterrecord. The checking group field can be found on one of the MRP screens(usually either the second or third, depending on your material masterdisplay settings).
Afterwards, restart the availability check for order &V2&.
