Diagnosis
The Configuration Control equipment BOM usage is used to represent theactual configuration within the Configuration Control Workbench. It isimportant to keep track of all non-serialized stock-managed materialsthat make up the actual configuration. Any changes made to theConfiguration Control equipment BOM usage with transactions IB01 andIB02 are not reflected in the stock update.

System Response
Authorized users are allowed to perform the changes in the equipment BOMmaintenance transactions.

Procedure
Only use transactions IB01 and IB02 for the initial setup of theequipment BOM, or for correcting errors that occurred during the initialsetup of the equipment BOM.
Use transaction IE4N to update the stock information accordingly. If youdo not want the stock information to be updated, continue withprocessing.
