SAP Message CCMM285 - Material &1 is serialized

Diagnosis
You attempted to post a material movement in IE4N, using aserialized material. This movement does not update the corresponding PMstructures, which can lead to inconsistencies.

System Response
This message can be maintained in transaction OMPL1:

  • If it is not maintained, the system does not issue a message and the
    • movement is possible.
    • For W, the system issues a warning message and the movement is
      • possible.
      • For E, the system issues an error message and the movement is not
        • possible.

        Procedure
        Maintain the message settings for message number CCMM 285 intransaction OMPL1.
