Diagnosis
You want to create a new change object (for example, BOM) for thechange request.

System Response
The system checks whether

• the indicator One object management record for ECR/ECO
is set in the control data in Customizing for EngineeringChange Management:

• the change object has already been processed with reference to an ECO
that has not been completed

Procedure
Since the indicator is set and the change object has already beenprocessed with reference to an incomplete order, you cannot enter thechange object.
You cannot create an object management record for the change objectuntil you have set the system status Complete in the ECO.
