Diagnosis
Numeric change numbers exist in the system. If you activatelexicographical storage of change numbers, these change numbers will nolonger be capable of being interpreted.
By setting the "Lexicographical" indicator, you change the way in whichnumeric change numbers are stored. Numeric change numbers are thenstored in tables as left justified, not as right justified.
Length of change number:,,8
Entry:,,12345
Old storage:,,000000012345
New storage:,, 00012345____

Procedure
You cannot change the storage form for change numbers if there arealready numeric change numbers in the system.
