Diagnosis
You want to create a change master record that has a new effectivitytype (for example, serial number) by copying an existing change masterrecord. The existing change master record has a different effectivitytype (for example, time period).

The system checks whether the effectivity types are the same.

Procedure
The effectivity types are not the same, so the system does not copy theeffectivity data. You must enter effectivity data in the new changemaster record yourself.
