Diagnosis
Either you want to create object management records for sales orderBOMs for this change number, or you have chosen menu path Goto-> Object overview -> Standard BOMs.
You can only do this if the following indicators are set for the objecttype concerned:

• Indicator: object type active for change number


• Indicator: a management record is required for each object

As at least one of these indicators has not been set for sales orderBOMs, you cannot use this function for sales order BOMs.

Procedure
Set these indicators for the object type Bill of material orobject sub-typeSales order BOM.
Note:
To set the indicator individually for different types of BOM, choosemenu path Edit -> Other -> Object sub-types, thenset the indicator for BOMs.
If you cannot change this change master, choose a change master whichallows changes to sales order BOMs.
