Diagnosis
You want to carry out a date shift.
When you carry out a date shift, the system re-defines the valid-fromdate for each effectivity period of the objects linked to the changemaster.
This process would change the sequence of effectivity periods of BOMV2, alternative v3 on v1.

System Response
The system checks whether the BOM is still consistent after a dateshift. This is not the case if, for example, the BOM has already beenchanged using a change number with the new valid-from date you want toshift to.

Procedure
As the BOM will no longer be consistent if the date shift is carriedout, you cannot carry out the date shift.
