Diagnosis
You want to assign a revision level to a change status of an object(for example, a material).
Settings in the "Engineering change management" IMG step "Set upControl Data" determine that, when you assign a revision levelexternally, you must always assign a higher revision level from thesequence defined.

Procedure
Choose a revision level that from the sort sequence that has a highervalue than the last revision level assigned.
