Diagnosis
You see this error message in one of the following situations:
RESET N1
The indicator which allows object management records to be generatedautomatically is not selected in the change master for the object typeconcerned.
The Indicator: Management record generated automatically only fornew objects is set for the object type concerned.
However, you want to process an existing object with this changenumber.
You are processing an ECR.

System Response
The system checks whether the Indicator: Object management recordgenerated is selected in the change master for the object typeconcerned.
If the Indicator: Management record generated automatically onlyfor new objects is selected, the system checks whether the objectexists already.

Procedure
If you are authorized to change the change master, perform thefollowing steps:
1.)
Set this indicator for the object type concerned or create themanagement record in the change master.
2.)
If the object exists already in the system and the Indicator:Management record generated automatically only for new objects isselected, the system can no longer generate the management recordautomatically.
In this case, you must first create the object management record in thechange master before you can change the object with reference to thechange number.
3.)
You cannot generate object management records for an ECR.
