Diagnosis
You want to create management records for material BOMs in this changenumber, or you have chosen menu option Goto, function Objectoverview -> Material BOMs.
This is only possible if the following indicators are set for theobject type:

• Object type active for change number


• Management record required for each object

At least one of these indicators is not set, so you cannot use thisfunction for material BOMs.

Procedure
Set the indicator for the object type material BOM.


• If you want to enter the indicators more specifically for different BOM
categories, choose menu option Edit, function Objectsub-types -> Bill of mat..
If it is not possible to change this change master, choose a differentchange number which allows changes to material BOMs.
