Diagnosis
You have started the updating of the external model. The update startsthe masterdata download in change mode. Also you have selected the BOMexplosion function in the variant for the masterdata download.

System Response
The change mode cannot be used together with the BOM explosion. Thus,
the masterdata download cannot be executed in the change mode and will
be executed in complete mode.

Procedure
If you want to execute the model update in the change mode, you need tolist all materials for downloading in the variant for the masterdatadownload an take off the flag for BOM explosion.
