Diagnosis
The system checks the keys of new measurements before saving them. Thesystem detected an inconsistency in the key you entered.
The following causes are possible:

• When the system is set up, a check function for new measurement keys can
be stored in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools. A function ofthis type exists and has rejected the key.

• As standard, the system also checks whether the key contains the special
characters * or +. As these special characters are used assearch commands, you cannot use them as part of a key.
