Diagnosis
You can define an externalnumber range in Customizingwith which newly entered accident notification numbers must correspond.A number range such as this exists in the system and has rejected theaccident report number.
Independent of this, the system also checks whether the accidentnotification number contains the special characters * or +
. These special characters are not permitted for accidentnotification numbers because they are used as search commands.

System Response
The system rejects the entry.

Procedure
Correct the accident notification number. If necessary, contact yoursystem administrator to find out the correct syntax for accidentnotification numbers.
