The work area could not be created because Customizing for the statusprofile of the work area is not set up correctly.

System Response
The creation of the work area was canceled. The data is not saved.

Procedure
To create EH&S work areas, a status profile must exist in Customizingfor EH&S Industrial Hygiene and Safety and the profile must be assignedto an object type work area.
Proceed as follows:

• Check if a profile status of the type WKA exists and if the
Status Profile Active indicator is set for this status profile inCustomizing for Environment, Health and Safety underIndustrial Hygiene and Safety -> Basic Settings -> Status Management-> Activate Status Profiles.

• Check the details for the profile status of the work area in Customizing
for Environment, Health and Safety under Industrial Hygieneand Safety -> Basic Settings -> Status Management -> Check and ExtendStatus Profiles. Check if the object type work area is indicated asan allowed object type in the object type assignment for the statusprofile.
