Diagnosis
Allowed values cannot be determined for characteristic &V1&. This may bedue to the following:

• A check table, check function, or foreign key has been assigned to the
characteristic as its search help but the search help contains an erroror does not exist.

• The system cannot display the values it has selected because the formats
defined in the search help do not match the characteristic format.

• Check whether the search help assigned to the characteristic has been
defined. To do so, check the following settings for the characteristicin Customizing for Process Management, activity DefineCharacteristics for Process Messages:
The entry made for the foreign key on the dialog box for processmanagement
The entries made for the check table or check function on the Values
tab page

• Check the definition of the search help and make sure that the formats
used in the search help match the characteristic format.
