Diagnosis
For detailed planning, master recipe &V1& &V2& has been assigned to theproduction version you have selected. The change rule of this masterrecipe specifies that an approval procedure must be followed. Dependingon the system settings, the system reacts as follows:

• In the standard system, this system message is displayed as an error
message. This means that you can only edit the production version inthe master recipe and no longer in the material master. This ensuresthat the production version is subject to the same approval procedureas the master recipe.

• If you have made the corresponding Customizing settings, this message
is displayed as a warning message only. This means that you can stillmaintain the production version in the material master.

Procedure
If this message is displayed as an error message in your system, editthe production version in the master recipe.

Procedure for System Administration
If you want to allow production version maintenance in the materialmaster record, too, make the following settings in Customizing forMaster Recipes:
In the Customizing activity Settings for the Task List Type,specify that this message C5 632 Detailed plan requires approvalis only displayed as a warning message or even not at all.
Caution!
The settings are valid for all your production versions in your system.
You should not make these settings if you must comply with theguidelines on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the pharmaceuticalindustry.
