SAP Message C3044 - Cost comp. &2 assigned to cost comp. structure &1 does not exist

Diagnosis
Cost component &V2& was assigned tocost component structure &V1&.This cost component does not exist.

Procedure
Go into Customizing for Product Cost Controlling and either

  • assign an existing cost component to cost component structure &V1&

    • or
    • create cost component &v2&
