SAP Message C2222 - Characteristic change for material & does not lead to a new BOM explosion

Diagnosis Changes to characteristics of phantom component &V1& should lead to anew BOM explosion. However, a new BOM explosion cannot take placebecause dependent components cannot be deleted. System Response The system adopts the new value of the characteristics but the BOM isnot adjusted.
