System Response
The system only lets you assign a condition if the characteristic doesnot yet have a value assigned to it.

Procedure
Close the F4 help, delete the assigned value, then open the F4 helpagain. Place the cursor on the value without selecting thecharacteristic, then choose Assign variant condition. Enter acondition and save.
