Diagnosis
You have chosen the Delete characteristic function from thecharacteristics menu. However, the characteristic is still in use, soit cannot be deleted.

Procedure
To determine where the characteristic is used, chooseCharacteristic -> Change, then Environment -> Where-used list.After you have deleted all usages of the characteristic, you can choosethe delete function again and delete the characteristic.
