Diagnosis
You have set the Asyn. signature processindicator in the process instruction.
The system only takes this indicator into account in the PI sheet ifthe following requirements are met:

• The Digital signature indicator has been set in
Customizing for the control recipe destination.

• A signature strategy has been allocated in Customizing for the control
recipe destination or in the process instruction.

• The process instruction is defined at the very end of the PI sheet.
This means that is used to sign off the entire PI sheet.

System Response
If any of these requirements is not met, the signature process iscarried out synchronously.
