Diagnosis
The required message characteristic &V1& has been defined as a hiddencharacteristic in the process instruction. However, either no value orthe initial value has been assigned to it.

Procedure
Execute one of the following steps:

• Assign a value to the characteristic in the process instruction.


• Define the characteristic as an input value in the process instruction.

If you do not change the process instruction, the system automaticallycreates an input field for the characteristic in the PI sheet.
