Diagnosis
Message characteristic &V1& is a long text characteristic. Thefollowing data has been maintained for this characteristic in theprocess data request:

• The characteristic is marked as an input or output value.


• A long text has been entered for the characteristic.

In data requests, however, long texts are neither supported as defaultvalues for an input value nor as output values. For this reason, thelong text is ignored in the process instruction assistant.

System Response
When you choose Copy to exit the process instruction assistant,the long text is deleted from the process instruction.

Procedure
If you want to use the long text, reset the Input valueindicator or the Output value indicator for characteristic &V1&.
