SAP Message C0725 - Object characteristic "&1" not allowed - message is not created

Diagnosis
You may not use objectcharacteristics in process notifications.
However, the process notification you have processed contains theobject characteristic &V1&.

System Response

  • If the object characteristic used is obligatory, you cannot create the
    • process notification.
    • If the object characteristic used is optional, it is ignored by the
      • system, and the process notification is created anyway.
      The object characteristic field is in both cases not ready for input.

      Procedure
      Delete the object characteristic &V1& from the relevant processinstruction category.
      Create the process notification again.
