Diagnosis
The system cannot carry out batch determination or batch check for theprocess instruction you have selected for one of the following reasons:

• No values have been assigned to the characteristics for the reservation
number and reservation item in the process instruction.

• The process instruction does not contain the characteristic for the
material quantity.

• The material quantity has been defined as an input value in the process
instruction. However, the value has not yet been entered in the PIsheet.

Procedure
RESET N1
Check the PI sheet on whether you have entered the required materialquantity in the process instruction.
If not, add the missing value.
For PI sheets with test function:
RESET N2
Check process instruction &V2& assigned to phase &V1& in the processoder.
If required, add the characteristics for the reservation number(PPPI_RESERVATION), the reservation item (PPPI_RESERVATION_ITEM), orthe material quantity (PPPI_MATERIAL_CONSUMED).
Create a new control recipe and maintain the PI sheet for it.
Change process order
For productive PI sheets:
You cannot correct errors in the process instruction for the current PIsheet.
If required, carry out batch determination or batch check in thematerial list of the process order.
