Diagnosis
The process message with which inspection results are to be reported toQM does not contain a characteristic number. However, thecharacteristic number is needed for the assignment of process messageswithin QM.
The process message is not transferred to QM.

Procedure
RESET N1
Call up the operation or phase of the process order specified in theprocess message and determine the number of the characteristic to whichthe reported inspection results belong.
Display process order
If the process message has not yet been sent to another destination,add the characteristic number in the message monitor and send themessage from the monitor.
Otherwise, manually record the inspection results in QM.
