Diagnosis
Not all the fields you want to copy are defined as characteristics.
Fields that are already defined as characteristics have a selectionindicator in the appropriate column. You can only select these fields.

Procedure
To define a field as a characteristic, choose the Createcharacteristic function from the Edit menu. Once acharacteristic has been created for a field, you can copy the field toyour list object.
