SAP Message C$868 - Template for variant & is in status '&', action is not possible

Diagnosis
The template for generation variant &v1& is in status &v2&. The actionyou selected cannot be carried out with this template.

System Response
The action was not carried out.

Procedure
Use another generation variant, or ensure that the template for variantV1 is not in status v2.
There are two dependencies between possible actions and the status of atemplate:

  • Report from template: only possible when templates have status 'In
    • work' or 'Released'.
    • Create report: only possible when templates have status 'Released'.
