SAP Message C$211 - Enter a valid material-plant combination

Diagnosis
This error has occurred for the following reasons:

  • The combination of material number and plant you have entered does not
    • exist in the system.
    • Customizing for batch definition does not allow the entry of a
      • plant-specific material view.

      Procedure
      Either enter a valid material/plant combination or assign the materialto the plant proposed by the system.
      If the error is caused by batch definition (field TCUCH-KZDCH != 0),check whether you can change the Customizing settings for batchdefinition accordingly.
