SAP Message BUAVC804 - Change to BUAVC* tables: &1 entries require manual update in client &2

Diagnosis
In client &V2&, &V1& entries of the tables BUAVCLDGR (
availability control ledgers) or BUAVCSRC (
availability control data sources) could not bechanged, because the AVC data source contains unknown values. SAPcurrently supports the following values:

  • FMBC (application component: FM = Funds Management)

  • FMBP (application component: FM)

  • FMUC (application component: FM)

  • FMUP (application component: FM)

  • GMBP (application component: GM = Grants Management)

  • GMUP (application component: GM)

    • System Response
    The field APPLIC of the respective table entrieskeeps its initial value of zero or blank. The error severity is onlyminor - the missing table attributes can be maintained after theXPRA phase.

    Procedure
    The availability control tool will not work properly unless this errorhas been eliminated. Therefore, before restarting production operationafter the XPRA phase, please first perform the following steps in client
    V2:

    • Start transaction SM30 and enter as view name V_BUAVCSRC.

    • Press the Maintain button.

    • Select the desired value of the field application
      • component for all entries with a missing value.
      • Save your changes.

      • Return to the initial screen of transaction SM30 and repeat the
        • same steps for the view V_BUAVCLDGR, if applicable.
