Diagnosis
When an external program ends, it attempts to send its status to therequesting SAP system. This status indicates, for example, whether theprogram ended with an error or not. In this case, the status of theexternal program could not be determined.

System Response
Because this message normally involves a background job that controlledthe external program, this job was cancelled.

Procedure
The following responses are possible:

• Examine the log of the involved job. It may report the cause of the
error.

• You can also examine the system log. It should also contain messages
regarding the cause of the error. In particular, look for messagesreferring to CPI-C problems.
