Diagnosis
You can specify a target computer when you schedule a job. Thisspecification determines which computer the corresponding job will beexecuted on. The name you enter is checked according to severalcriteria, or the system attempts to create an overview of SAP systemsthat currently support background processing.
This message means that the system attempted one of these operations,but was not successful. The reason for this is that system could notcreate the overview of currently active SAP servers.

System Response
The system issues this message. Depending on the operation performed,the name of the target computer may have to be left blank, or thesystem cannot create and display the overview.
Please note that the field can remain unspecified. If so, the loadsituation at execution time of the job determines the computer wherethe job is run.

Procedure
Make sure that this SAP system is logged on to the corresponding SAPmessage server and that the message server is active. To do this, calltransaction "SM51" and check the displayed list to see whether this SAPsystem is contained therein. If the system cannot create the list,please contact the SAP system administrator in charge in order to solvethe problem.
Please also note that the name of the target computer is not a requiredentry. If nothing is specified, the load situation at execution timeof the job will determine the computer where the job runs.
