SAP Message BT166 - No log entries are available for the selected job

Diagnosis
The background processing system could not find a log file for the jobyou have selected. Possible causes of this problem include thefollowing:

  • The job has not yet run. No job log has been generated.

  • The job is running but no messages have been written in the job log as
  • yet.
    • The job log has already been deleted.

    • The job log has been lost as a result of a system or database problem.
    • System Response
      The operation you selected has been terminated.

      Procedure
      Check the status of the job to see if it has run.
      If the job has run, you can check the SAP system logfor any evidence of serious problems in your system.
      Typically, no serious problem has occurred. The job log may have beendeleted by a reorganization of the TEMSE database, where logs arestored. You can check on the status of the TEMSE database with theTEMSE management facility.
