Diagnosis
The background processing system was not able to update the status ofthe job named in the message. It was not possible, for example, tochange the status from scheduled to releasedeingeplant,freigegeben. The job status is kept in table TBTCO.
Because the error occurred in an ABAP/4 UPDATE instruction, it islikely that a problem has occurred in the database system or in yourhost system environment.

Check the SAP system log for messages relating to thisproblem. You should also use the diagnostic tools of the databasesystem or the computing center management system toanalyze this error.
