SAP Message BRAIN581 - Input-ready formula '&1 &2' cannot be inverted

Diagnosis
In this query, input-ready formula '&V1& &V2&' is used. The system usesinverse formulas on basis key figures to back-calculate entries informulas like this. The inverse formulas required for this are definedin Query Designer. The inverse formula that the system selects dependson the status of the operands in the inverse formulas. The followingoperand statuses are possible:

  • Entered

  • Fixed

  • Already calculated by another formula

  • Not input-ready.

  • The system now searches for an inverse formula that as many operands aspossible have been defined for. If this selection is not unique, theinverse formula with the highest priority wins. During this process, aformula group is not calculated more than once. If no inverse formulasare found, the system displays this message.

    System Response
    The entries cannot be processed.

    Procedure
Check the entries or fixed cells.

    • Enter fewer values

    • Revoke any fixing of cell values

    • The following messages list the operands that input-ready key figure '
V1 v2' is used with, together with the status of these operands(entered, calculated, fixed, not input ready).
