Diagnosis
The hierarchy cannot be activated since the node name '&V1&' containsnot permitted characters. Only the characters '&V2&&V3&&V4&' areallowed as values for hierarchy nodes.

Procedure
Change all nodes and end nodes in the hierarchy, that contain notpermitted characters.

Procedure for System Administration
Provided that capital letters are being dealt with for thesecharacters, you can also declare these as permitted characters. Choosethe function "Permitted characters" in the main menu of the BusinessInformation Warehouse (under global settings) or make the setting in BWcustomizing.
