SAP Message BOS04042 - No match between service lines/costing items and project/subproject

Diagnosis
Mismatch between the reference point of a service line for the transferand the selection priority for batch processing.

System Response
In case of batch processing, the system uses the reference points andpriority according to the selected Customizing profile. This settingdetermines how the system transfers the planned costs from the bill ofservices (BOS) to work breakdown structure (WBS) elements
The system can either transfer a costing item individually or a serviceline cost estimate as a costing node with the costing items of thatservice line.

Procedure
For the cost estimate transfer, you must determine the following fieldsas reference points for service lines and WBS elements:

  • BOS field from table ESLL

  • WBS element field from table PRPS

    • For the costing item transfer, you must determine the following fieldsas reference points for costing items of the BOS and WBS elements:
    • BOS costing item field from table KIS1

    • WBS element field from table PRPS
