Diagnosis An important prerequisite for the use of a schedule is thespecification of a route and the route stages. Each vendor shipping point is represented by a connecting point in theroute stage. The vendor number is maintained as reference in theconnecting point. The receiving point represents the last point in the route andindicates the end of the route. The receiving point is maintained asreference in the last connecting point. Entry of the references (vendor or receiving point) is obligatory for aconnection point. System Response Maintain a reference to a vendor or receiving point for the connectionpoint. Procedure To define routes, process the following steps:
- Define the transportation connection points and maintain the
appropriate references.
- Define the routes and the route stages.
