SAP Message BEM_BDOC171 - Using an mBDoc of type &1 is not supported for application &2

Diagnosis
A messaging BDoc (mBDoc) of the specified type cannot currently be usedby any application which was generated based on the Billing EngineFramework.

Procedure
Choose one of the following three options for the mBDoc type:

  • 'DOC': ,,This type of application mBDoc allows the
    • application to communicate with R/3 Financial Accounting and theexternal interface. If the source application of an application is aCRM transaction, the status, document flow, billed quantity and billedvalue of the transaction is updated. In addition, a BW system can beconnected.
    • 'DLV': ,,Update status and document flow in R/3 delivery

    • 'STA': ,,Update Financial Accounting transfer status in
      • the application
