Diagnosis
The billing item category is not defined as relevant for claimsettlements (by means of the billing type and billing category).Therefore, you cannot set the Partial Settlement Allowedindicator.

Procedure
If you want to use the billing item category for claim settlement,assign it a billing type of one of the following billing categoriesbefore you activate the Partial Settlement Allowed indicator:

• D - Prepayment Settlement (Acc.Receiv.)


• E - Claim Settlement (Accts Payable)


• F - Claim Settlement (Accts Receiv.)
