Diagnosis
The confirmation/invoice item relates to an item from a backenddocument. An attempt to read this referenced data from the backendsystem failed.

System Response
Since the data could not be read from the backend system, checks cannotbe carried out against the item data of the backend document. Thesechecks include tolerance checks.
The document you have processed can only be held; it cannot be confirmedor posted.

Procedure
Until the error is corrected, you can only hold the document; you cannot confirm or post it.
There can be many reasons for the unsuccessful reading of the backenddata.
For example:

• A link to the backend system is currently not possible.


• The referenced item has been deleted/canceled/returned in the meantime.

The invoice items no longer correspond to the current situation. Inorder bring the proposed invoice items up-to-date, choose the pushbutton"Propose Current PO Data".

• The purchase order does not contain items that are still open.

Ensure that the link to the backend system is possible.
