SAP Message BBP_ATTR_CHECK303 - Optional for the application "&1": Maintain the attribute AN1

Diagnosis
User &V3& may run EBP application &V1&. However, attributeAN1 is not defined for the position S &V4& assigned to him.
This attribute defines the asset master record in the backend systemand serves as a default value for the account assignment for EBPdocuments.

System Response
In the EBP browser system, when user &V3& (position S &V4&) runs theEBP application &V1&, there is no dropdown list box for theaccount assignment object asset master. The user must enter theobject in plain text.

Procedure
Start Transaction PPOMA_BBP and select the Attributestab. Select position S &V4& (or a higher-level department) of user &V3&and enter the asset master record number in attribute AN1.
Enter at least one asset master record number and designate it as thedefault value.
Prerequisites:

  • You have already defined the key for the corresponding account
    • assignment category Asset (AS) in Customizing.
    ([IMG]: Enterprise Buyer -> Cross-Application Basic Settings ->Account Assignment -> Define Account Assignment Categories)
    • You have already entered the key for the corresponding account
      • Asset (AS) in attribute KNT.
      Examples of values for attribute AN1:
      • ABCCLNT123\000000001111 - user &V3& receives default value
        • 000000001111 for account assignment of documents that areassigned to the backend system ABCCLNT123.
        • ABCCLNT123\ - user &V3& may only enter account assignment for
          • documents that are assigned to the backend system ABCCLNT123 .He must enter the asset master record number in application &V1& inplain text.
          Notes:
          • In the same way, you can also define the asset master record
            • subnumber in attribute AN2 for user &V3&.
            • If user &V3& has authorization to create an asset master in the backend
              • system, you can propose or restrict Asset classes usingattribute ANK.
