SAP Message BBP_ATTR_CHECK108 - Application "&1": The attribute REQUESTER is not defined

Diagnosis
User &V3& may run EBP application &V1&. However, attributeREQUESTER is not defined for the position S &V4& assigned tohim.
This attribute is used for both of the following scenarios:

  • Shopping as a substitute:

  • This attribute specifies the person on whose behalf user &V3& may shop.
    (The values defined for the attribute are the basis for the F4 searchhelp for field goods recipient, that the secretary or otheremployees can use to shop on behalf of other employees.)
    • Direct material purchase order:

    • Before user &V3& can order direct material, he must have specified thenecessary plants. Attribute REQUESTER is used to define the plants inthe organizational structure that the user can select.

      System Response
      The EBP application &V1& evaluates attribute REQUESTER but thedetail is not absolutely necessary.

      Procedure
      Start Transaction PPOMA_BBP and select the Attributestab. Depending on the scenario, you make different entries in theattribute field REQUESTER:

      • Shopping on behalf on another person (in the department):

      • In the attribute REQUESTER, enter the object key of the person (in thedepartment) who user &V3& is to shop for.
        The entry format for this is: .
        Examples of values for attribute REQUESTER:
        US MANAGER (or O 50000123).
        • Direct material order:

        • Here you enter the business partner number of the plant that is to bethe goods recipient.
          The entry format for this is: <(>
          <<)>Business partner number>.
          Examples of a value for attribute REQUESTER: BP1234.
          Note:
          For the direct material senario, the business partner number (maximum10 characters) entered in this attribute must be linked with a plant intable CRMM_LOCMAP.
