SAP Message BAPI1022039 - Required entry field &1 is not completed - legacy asset not created

Diagnosis Field &v1& ("&v2&") is a required entry field in depreciation areaV4. the field was not supplied with data when the bapi was called. System Response A legacy asset is not created. Procedure Pass along field &v1& when calling the "FixedAsset.CreateInclValues"BAPI for depreciation area &v4&. Or change the screen layout ruleassigned to depreciation area &v4& in asset class &v1& so that thisfield is an optional entry field.
