SAP Message AY242 - Required entry field &1 not supplied with values - asset not created

Diagnosis Field &v1& ("&v2&") is a required entry field in depreciation area &v4& . The field was not supplied with values when the function module wascalled. System Response No asset is created. Procedure When function module ASSET_MASTERRECORD_MAINTENANCE is called, passalong the &V1& field in depreciation area &v4&. Or change the field toan optional entry field in the screen layout rule of depreciation areaV4 in asset class v3.
