Diagnosis
You want to create or process an asset in asset class &v1&. InCustomizing, tab layout &v2& and screen layout &v3& were assigned toasset class &v1&.
Group box &v4& is not included in tab layout &v2&. But at the sametime, a field in logical field group &v4&, which corresponds to groupbox &v4&, is included in screen layout &v3&. This field is defined as arequired field.

System Response
It is not possible to maintain the required field. Therefore, masterdata maintenance is not possible.

Procedure

• Include group box &v4& in tab layout &v2&.


• Or change screen layout rule &v3& so that no fields in logical field
group &v4& are required fields.
