SAP Message AV101 - Idoc no. &1 could not be updated in the system!

Diagnosis
Number assignment error:

  • No number range maintained for PD_SEQ_NR or

  • Number range interval for PD_SEQ_NR has overflowed

    • Procedure
    SAP reference IMG -> Cross-application components -> Plant datacollection -> Functions valid for all communication channels ->Maintain number range
