If the long text deletion configuration is saved without comparison ofthe filter tables, then the previous settings for the filter table forlogging long text changes are used. In this case too many long textscould be logged.
Comparison of the filter table with the configuration is recommended.
If the filter table is empty (Menu: Goto -> Delete Filter Table), thenall long text changes are logged. This leads to increased data load onthe database, and to decreased performance. This setting is recommendedif you want to log all long texts.
Procedure for System Administration
After filter table comparison and saving the data, the system and allits application servers must be restarted.
Always ensure that the target system is restarted when the changes havebeen successfully imported to the target system.
